The Allen Terry Caravan Park Hughenden provides pleasant surroundings with many trees, grassy grounds and full amenities. With a long history in Hughenden, Allen Terry Caravan Park offers travellers a great place to set up whilst exploring the area.
Make use of the camp kitchen, including two large BBQs, fridge, microwave, boiling water on tap, plenty of bench space and undercover seating. There is also on-site laundry, clean amenities blocks and a dump point for your convenience. Get to know other travellers around the firepit and give your car, van or caravan a quick clean in the wash-down bay.
Caravan sites are mostly powered sites with a few unpowered and limited drive thru sites at this Hughenden caravan park QLD. You’ll park your caravan or camper on the gravel and set up on the grassed plot allocated next to it. There are separate grassy campsites for tents that are either powered or unpowered. You can even bring your family pet when camping or caravanning. There is also disabled access available just ask at reception.
Along with the range of options for campers, several cabins and single rooms are also available. Cabins range from deluxe two-bedroom to non-en-suited single cabins depending on your needs and budget. All cabins are air-conditioned and include a full kitchenette with bar fridge, linen and TV. Located on Richmond Hill in Hughenden Rest Easi Motel & Caravan Park offers hotel and caravan accommodation. With all the benefits of a hotel but the convenience of limited campsites, you’ll find what you need.
You’ll want to book quickly with only six sites available for caravans or campers. There is a guest laundry, BBQ facilities and outdoor furniture available to make your stay comfortable. There is also a grassed area for campers with tents to camp.
Rest Easi Motel and Caravan Park Hughenden offer single, double, or family rooms if you don’t want to camp. All rooms come with air conditioning, ensuite, microwave, fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, free Wi-Fi and TV with Foxtel.

Hughenden Free Camping Grounds
If you’re looking for Hughenden free camping, the local showgrounds offer spaces on the grounds’ edge. It’s all very basic at the Hughenden Showgrounds RV Campground, but it’s perfect for those wanting a freebie.
You must register, get a permit at the Flinders Discovery Centre in town (between 9 am and 5 pm), and confirm that your vehicle is self-sufficient. If you don’t have a built in shower and toilet in your van, you’ll be knocked back a permit. Portable toilets and showers are not enough.
The only amenities onsite are fresh water and a dump point for your grey and black water tanks. There are also multiple restrictions on what can be set up with no open fires. You can have fuel stoves and silent generators are allowed between 9 am and 5 pm.
You can bring your pet as the grounds are pet-friendly but ensure you check what events are running when you want to visit as they’ll take precedence over campers.
